The Real Estate Market in Moline, Illinois.

Location Characteristics: Moline is a beautiful river town that is rich in heritage, culture, and quality of life! It is located approximately halfway between Chicago and Des Moines on I-80 at the Mississippi River and is part of Quad Cities USA. Terrain varies from flat corn fields to heavily wooded ravines and views from beautiful rolling hills to scenic river bluffs that are one of a kind! Schools are always high in national ranking as we pride ourselves in educating our children. Cost of living is relatively low primarily because of the great values in our real estate! Come visit us and you'll see why Quad Cities USA is ranked at the top of many national polls as a great place to live and raise a family!
Our real estate market continues to march on with sales at a pace ahead of last year which was great! We do have a buyers market because we have an unusually large number of people wishing to sell and not enough buyers to go around. An influx of transferring employees is expected soon which will change the market so now is the time to buy!!! Moline and the Quad-Cities in general is a nice place to live.  I enjoyed substitute teaching in the Quad-Cities/Moline back in the 70's.  They have good schools, good public transportation, plenty of places to go and things to see.

Rob,

Was that when you were living on W. 1st?

Yep.  It was also when I rode a motorcycle to whatever school assignment I had for the day.  That is until a van ran a red light and totalled my ride.
